What To Expect Moving Forward

At United Movers & Storage, we are dedicated to making your upcoming move as easy and stress-free as possible. We understand that relocating can be a big undertaking, and we are here to help ensure it goes as smoothly as possible. Our team of experienced professionals will work with you every step of the way to make sure your relocation is successful.

To ensure a smooth move, please make sure to follow a few important guidelines:

  • Do not make any travel arrangements within 5 days of your pickup window.

  • Make sure a moving truck can reach your front door within 75 feet of both the origin and destination. 

  • If you are self-packing, make sure to empty dresser drawers, pack televisions in TV boxes, bubble wrap fragile items, box pictures and mirrors, use mattress covers for mattresses and box springs, and bubble wrap and box all glass table tops. Garbage bags are not permitted.

  • If you are moving specialty items like a slate pool table, grandfather clock, baby grand piano, chandelier, or exercise equipment, contact a specialty packing service 

Approximately 5 days before your move date, you will be contacted by a member of our Quality Assurance department to verify your inventory list and make any necessary adjustments at the same rate of cf from when you made the relocation deposit.

Approximately 24 hours prior to your move date, a member from our Customer Support Center will reach out with an exact E.T.A. and further instructions for the move day. We look forward to servicing all of your relocation needs! Any questions, comments, or concerns please do not hesitate to email
